"SAVIOR BORN IN FELT" Black Long Sleeve Unisex Shirt
"SAVIOR BORN IN FELT" taken from the first Canto of Dante's Inferno, about the first level of hell faced. Wherein the protagonist attempts to climb the Mount of Joy, but his way is immediately blocked by the Three Beasts of Worldliness:
THE LEOPARD OF MALICE AND FRAUD, THE LION OF VIOLENCE AND AMBITION, and THE SHE-WOLF OF INCONTINENCE.
The beasts drive Dante back into the Darkness of Error. All seems lost until the shade of Virgil appears (who will be his guide throughout all circles of Hell as they descent). He advises Dante to take an alternate direction, as the She-wolf will certainly kill him. Virgil speaks a dark prophecy of how the wolf's work will forever continue on earth until a savior nourished of virtue, love and wisdom (the Greyhound), comes and drives her back into hell. Returning the She-wolf to where Envy first released her on the world. This savior is described as "born between felt". There are many different variations of this specific line in the many translations that have been done of The Inferno since it's creation. It remains one of the many mysteries of Dante's Inferno, even today no one for certain knows exactly what he meant as it was deliberately written to be unresolved.
Rozliubit's "Tetra Cherubim" double bladed knife adorns each sleeve. For further info about the inspiration for the weapon, please see item listing here.
